Goldman Sachs CEO To Retire
Goldman Sachs' head of Middle East and North Africa (MENA) - Wassim Younan, is retiring after almost 30 years with Wall Street’s leading bank.
Wassim Younan came to the MENA region in 2006 and oversaw the expansion of Wall Street bank's presence and franchise with offices in Dubai, Doha and Riyadh. His presence saw the rise of some of Goldman Sachs’ top deals in the region, such as Saudi Aramco's $29.4 billion IPO last year.
Goldman named Fadi Abuali and Zaid Khaldi co-chief executive officers of the bank in the region effective January 1st.
