The NFP Report - Today 13.30 GMT

It’s that special day of the month again! The day NFP figures will be announced - Today, Friday, January 8th at 13.30 GMT.

The ADP report showed a disappointing loss of 123,000 jobs in December, lowering expectations for Nonfarm Payrolls. The data contradicts the upbeat ISM Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index for last month.

Regarding the NFP figures, analysts expect employers to have added 100K jobs in December, down from 245K in November. The unemployment rate is expected to have stayed unchanged at 6.7%.
