Twitter Suspends Conservative Activist Group Account
Twitter suspended the account of a conservative activist group - Project Veritas for persisting privacy violations.
The social media giant’s privacy policy prohibits sharing or threatening to share others' private information without their consent, resulting in the suspension of the group account, as well as in a blocking of the group founder’s - James O’Keefe’s private account.
Project Veritas said in a public Telegram post, however, that the Tweet that led to the suspension was a video of one of their journalists asking Facebook's VP of integrity a question about censorship. According to them no privacy policy was violated, so they will appeal the suspension.
