Galvin Manufacturing Corporation, or as it was later better known as Motorola, started off in 1928 in Schaumburg, Illinois. After suffering heavy losses in 2007, 2008 and 2009, the company divided into Motorola Mobility and Motorola Solutions. Motorola Solutions is considered to be a successor of the original brand, and has since been sold to Google in 2012, and then later on to Lenovo in 2014. You all probably know all too well that Motorola is in the telecommunications industry. But what about their stock prices? After a few hard years, Motorola finally seems to be back on its legs in 2019.Stock prices reflect that, with a low at the start of the year at 110.76USD, and a peak of 163. 53USD just a while ago at the start of June.

1. Due to its track record in the past, many investors are sceptical that the stock will be stable for a longer period of time. 2. Competing stocks look much more enticing to potential investors.
